We planted some morning glory seeds this summer.  After they started to grow in pots, we transplanted them to the front yard, so they could grow up the trellis.  Here is one of the flowers that *finally* started blooming (after months of waiting!!)...

Kaira's First 9 weeks report card....

    Straight A Honor Roll! :)

One of Kaira's birthday presents - a new dance bag!  She has slowly been adding dance classes each year and is now up to three... Ballet, Jazz and Hip Hop.  Each requires different shoes and leotards and she finally outgrew her previous dance bag.  So I ordered a new, much larger, personalized one for her birthday...

At the Red River Revel, in downtown Shreveport.... lots of art booths, food vendors, activities, etc.  One of the things to do was a child-sized grocery store for the kids to play in.  They could pick up shopping lists on the way in, try to find all of the items on the list, and then get in line to check out.  Lots of fun!

items on her grocery list.

And a view of

LEGOS

Kaira gets a monthly Lego magazine, and in one of the recent ones, there was a lego building challenge you could enter - the challenge was to build a space vehicle and send in a picture with a description... here's is the picture of Kaira's space vehicle creation:

Fall Soccer pictures....

Getting good at playing goalie!  A few shots of her in action...

At one of the local women's college soccer games...

Kaira brought one of her soccer balls and had all of

the women's team sign the ball for her (and that's

her friend and soccer teammate, Kaitlyn, acting silly

in the background - crazy kids!)

For an end of the season present, I made bows

like this for all of the girls on our soccer team.

Running!

I've been getting back into running lately.  Been trying to do at least a couple 5K's a week.  Was hard at first because it's been a while since I ran regularly, but after getting back into it semi-regularly, it's starting to get easier again.  And starting to get faster too!!  Some recent stats...
